Welcome to AO Edge, a program designed by American Orthodontics to simplify your purchase activities and reward your loyalty. Offering 60 day payment terms, a 1% account reward credit paid annually, and free standard shipping on all purchases of $150 or more, AO Edge is available to almost all American Orthodontics customers in the United States and Canada for an annual membership fee of $125 (USD).
At enrollment, you simply supply your banking information through our secure and encrypted enrollment site. Payment for each invoice will be automatically collected by direct debit, with no fees.
AO Edge offers extended payment terms of N60, available to all AO Edge customers. Edge also has several custom payment terms that can be set for your office’s needs. Please click here to connect with our AO Edge Finance Department to review our options.
Nothing! AO Edge provides a 1% account credit reward based on your cumulative annual purchases through AO Edge. The accumulated reward is automatically credited on January 31 of the following year to your account.
We are unable to provide a credit card option for customers in either the US or Canada. The only payment option for this program is sign up for Direct Debit from a bank account using the AO Edge payment portal.
All Canada customers will be charged in CAD via a Canadian bank account. The AO itemized invoice will show in USD and list the daily exchange rate being used at the bottom of the invoice, similar to your current invoicing but without the option to pay in USD.
AO Edge will still send you an itemized invoice copy to your email for your records. Your account will always be current with AO Edge, so a statement is not generated. If one is ever needed, AO will send this upon your request.

Enrollment in AO Edge does not affect the benefits of either the Freedom or Partner Programs and points can still be used for other programs such as AO Destinations or Ultimate CE.
AO edge requires an annual membership fee of $125 (USD) per account number. The renewal occurs on the anniversary of your membership and you are notified in advance of any impending renewal.
The $125 (USD) annual fee is per AO account number.
An AO Edge membership can be discontinued at any time by calling AO Customer Service at 800.558.7687. However, annual membership fees are not prorated for refunds if any Edge benefits (such as free shipping) have been received.
Standard shipping is free for orders of $150 (USD) or greater. Standard shipping is generally defined as 2-3 days from the time the order is shipped — not placed — from AO. Expedited shipping options are also available to AO Edge members by request at the time of order placement for an incremental fee.
It is a simple and secure web based enrollment form. Visit the AO website and click the AO Edge link under the Sales tab. Once you agree to the terms and conditions and register, you enter your personal payment information which is encrypted and secure.
